Thanks be to God

I have spent the months and months since Amoris Laetitia came out muttering that the gates of hell shall not prevail. When the Dubia was issued, I rejoiced. When it was ignored, I wasn't surprised.

Now we have the Correctio Filialis. Perhaps ridiculously, a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders, I hadn't realised how aggrieved and hurt I was, in spite of the supportive mutterings between the like-minded among us over its obvious fudges and errors. I wasn't alone in feeling isolated and helpless to do anything other than pray, pray, pray.

Missa Cantata in Snave

I have been asked to publicise the Mass in Snave at St Augustines's Church, on Saturday 23rd September, at Noon, the celebrant will be Fr Antony Conlon. The Victoria Consort will be singing. St Augustine's is a Medieval church looked after by the Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust, who have given permission for the Mass.
